I purchased a new Sig P365 about three weeks ago. The date of manufacture is 7/16/16, and "striker" is listed on the Sig Case Label . After firing about 400 rounds of mixed ammo I had a light primer strike. The ammo used was new 9mm Winchester 124gr. NATO spec ammo.If you would carry a modern double action revolver, you would carry it with a fully loaded cylinder. For the same reasons, if you carry a P365, carry it with a round chambered and ready to fire. The gun is safe and must have the trigger fully deployed to fire. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. The fix is so simple it's worth doing. 1) Add a little material to the backside of the well where the spring connects and equally increase the length of the tip to allow for more travel should recoil cause it to move. 2) Increase the length of the tip on the trigger bar side to allow for more travel for the same reason.. It's expensive at about $1.20 a round, so I only did a five shot group at 7 yards.this weekend I taught a concealed carry course in the New York area, two of my students had the P365 model. one may have been slightly different than the other but both pistols had trigger creep awful feel. No clean break like I'm used to. I have 226 is, 229 to 210, 220, 320s none of them have a trigger like that..
