Sure 1/50 games you might need rapid fire cannon against high ranged. Or rare occasions where bork is good, but for the most part stick to the main build.Lucian's weakness during laning phase are high mana costs and getting ganked. There if you push the lane hard, then he is force to spam abilities on the wave, making him low mana and not enough mana to all in you. If you can't push it in, then are to let HIM push the wave into your turret/freeze in front of your turret. Lucian's weakest matchups are Caitlyn (naturally) and Senna (as separate examples, god forbid you lane against them both) in my personal experience, although either can be solved with a good in-support.
