I carry strong side IWB and the P365 with the flat base magazine is much easier to conceal than the P365 XL because of the height differential. The P365 is also more convenient to carry because the shorter slide and the 10 versus 12 round magazine make the gun lighter.1 - as with most brands, there have been "rolling changes" on the P365 (early, early models had issues with dead front night sight batches produced by Meprolight, fractured firing pin tips, and barrel peening issues. The XL is a belt carry gun while the P365 has a bit more versatility with concealment due to its size. I've owned both at the same time and ended up getting rid of the XL. Although I prefer a hammer-fired pistol, I have an appreciation for the striker-fired pistol. I find the P365 to be a smooth, clean breaking trigger with a nice reset. If you wanted smaller the P365X is a better option without going to a much shorter grip in the P365. And, a PMM comp can be placed on the front giving the same length as the Xmacro. ...
